Personal introduction

I am a Finance specialist/Controller, working both conceptually and hands-on. Preferably within a team, as the team leader or as a valuable contributor. I like to connect Finance and Business, so we can jointly decide on what needs to be done, with respect and with pleasure.

My background

After graduation from the Gemeentelijk Gymnasium in Hilversum and my Business and Economics Studies in Rotterdam I started as a junior Financial at Fokker (Aircraft Manufacturer). In the year 2008 I started as a free-lance interim controller working for various companies; some large ones (such as ABN AMRO, Hewlett-Packard, AkzoNobel) and some smaller ones (like TASK and Pararius).

My expertise

I have worked in a variety of situations where I was able to help build a solution by creating valuable insights, by setting up a process or by re-aligning a department. With concrete results: That essential report, a working Planning & Control Cycle or a new process implementation.
