Personal introduction

As a consultant I like to help entrepreneurs reframe the challenges they face. Turning crises into opportunities. Convincing others of these opportunities. I believe in the power of persuasion of entrepreneurs and like to help them with language and numbers; numbers provide only information if it is presented and expressed in a certain way: Regulations have a purpose and the purpose is leading, not the regulation itself.

My background

I have been a chartered accountant and an executive partner of Cox & Partners Advisors. An organisation of chartered accountants and tax advisers focussing on medium-sized companies with a strong international orientation. Over the years, I have gained experience in a very broad field, including mergers and acquisitions, family businesses, international trade and relations. After 25 wonderful years, I have handed over Cox & Partners to a national accountancy organisation, leaving my hands free for a more personal one on one advisory and coaching role.

My expertise

My expertise is not to hava an expertise but a very broad knowledge and a strong network of specialists locally and globally. I know the managerial challenges of medium-sized companies. I am good in finding alternative ways to achieve a goal and in convincing others. I am very hands on when I have to and have a helicopter view by nature.
